Es handelt sich also nicht um neu gefertigte Teile, daher die Bezeichnung \u201eNOS\u201c (New Old Stock). Der Hersteller ist Sherman Manufacturing Co. aus Michigan, USA. Das Unternehmen wurde 1921 gegr\u00fcndet und war bis Ende der 1970er-Jahre aktiv. Die Schlauchschelle entspricht dem Typ, der in den USA von Ende der 1930er- bis Ende der 1950er-Jahre verwendet wurde. Sie ist ein \u00e4lteres, in den USA hergestelltes Produkt und passt auf Schl\u00e4uche mit einem Au\u00dfendurchmesser von 21\u201325 mm. Am besten passt sie auf Heizungsschl\u00e4uche mit einem Innendurchmesser von 5\/8 Zoll (ca. 16 mm).
