The location is on the left side of the gearbox, i.e. on the driver&#039;s side. This is a remanufactured original fit only 1964 cable grommet that has the TH 400 gearbox, the hole in the gearbox is only a little over 14mm. This is a common cause of leakage, the plastic in the grommet ages and the oil leaks out through cracks or through the bad O-Ring that should seal between the grommet and the gearbox housing.
