The location of this cable entry is on the left side of the gearbox, i.e. on the driver&#039;s side, check the picture with red arrows and you will see where it is mounted. This is a remanufactured 1-pin cable gland in original design. This is a common cause of leakage, the plastic in the grommet ages and the oil leaks out through cracks or through the bad O-Ring that should seal between the grommet and the gearbox housing.
