Packing box for front wheel bearings

Tip!

Before fitting the new stuffing box, wash off all old grease and dirt. Press new grease into the bearings. When adjusting the bearings, mount the wheel first, adjust the bearing so that the play disappears but do not tighten more than that. Drive a few miles, raise the car and readjust the bearings. Do not adjust too tightly, you should almost sense a small play then it is perfectly adjusted.
