This is a Delco, GM Original complete factory reconditioned alternator 63 amp, with built in charge controller from ca: 1973. It fits right into the bracket that you have, and is very similar in appearance to your original alternator. It comes with a simple wiring diagram. You can leave your old charging regulator for the sake of appearance if you want, but it is not used.
