Description
A replacement cable that can be used if you e.g. glues it to the gauge. It is a complete speedometer cable with housing that is a little longer than the original but it is missing the small clip set that holds the cable to the meter. It fits cars that do not have cruise control, cruise control.
Original wire and gauges have conical parts that must be pressed together and held in place with a small clip. A poor design that broke easily, it was only found on the 1967-68 Cadillac. These odd wires are very hard to find, and the small clip set is often broken. Check out the pictures below to see what the original looks like. We have developed a good replacement cable that works perfectly. But you have to attach the wire to the meter somehow. The easiest way is to put a small dab of glue and hold the wire in place so the glue can dry properly, use strings, rubber bands or some other clever way? But be careful with the glue, you might want to get the wire off at some point in the future.
