The scraper has steel inserts and foldable spikes for easy installation. It is 16mm wide and 96cm long. This scratch strip fits the left side of the car. The scraper is slightly longer than the original, so it must be cut to the right length. This is most easily done with stronger nippers. The scraper is sold piece by piece.
You shorten the strip to the right length with sharp cutters or you cut it off with a small grinding wheel. When you cut to the right length, sand the edge with a file so you get a nice round finish that isn't sharp. If you are to mount the scraper in a curved shape, you sometimes have to cut small jacks at the bottom edge so it will be easier to bend. But as always think first work later and you will get the best result.
