Description
This dust cover sits on the inside of the kick box and covers a water drainage hole. Above this hole you will find a rectangular hole, and it is in the upper hole that you must push the dust cover's fastening barb. The function of this dust cover is to release water that ends up inside the kickbox, but not to let dust and dirt into the kickbox. If you don't have this dust cover, the kickbox fills with road dirt and forms a damp paste inside the kickbox which is a real breeding ground for rust damage. The dust cover is sold in pairs and a car requires 1 or 2 pairs depending on the model.
