This connector only fits cars without Tilt steering wheel and which have TH-400 Gearbox.
Immobilizer switch, neutral switch. Sits on the steering column and cuts the power to the starter motor when you have a gear engaged. You get a note on the car test if this contact is broken. It also senses when you put it in reverse and then turns on the reverse lights. The vacuum connections are for the handbrake's automatic release when you engage the gear
Tip!
How do you know you have a TH-400 gearbox? Check the gear indicator inside the car, do you have the hill closest to the parking position. Then you have a 3-speed TH-400 gearbox.
Check fasteners, screws and that nothing breaks askew. And that everything is ok where you screw the connector. If there is something crooked, crooked or something else wrong with the steering shaft with the linkage, it is easy for the connector you bought to break immediately.
