Description
The 1-pin cable grommet that feeds power to the transmission's kickdown solenoid. The location of this cable entry is on the left side of the gearbox, i.e. on the driver's side, check the picture with red arrows and you will see where it is mounted. This is a remanufactured 1-pin cable gland in original design. This is a common cause of leakage, the plastic in the grommet ages and the oil leaks out through cracks or through the bad O-Ring that should seal between the grommet and the gearbox housing. Replace both the grommet and the O-Ring.
