Angled brass nipple that sits between the oil hose to the air ride compressor and the front edge of the engine block. All dimensions are exactly like the original. The external thread is 1/8 NPT approx. 10mm if you measure with a caliper. Fits Air ride cars only.
Replace the oil hoses at the same time, they are often damaged in the cone that meets the brass nipple.
If you want, you can brush on a thin layer of gasket adhesive on the joints before installing the plug. But it often seals anyway, because the gang is conical.
National Pipe Thread is an American standard that includes tapered and straight threads. NPT are the conical threads, where the T in the abbreviation stands for tapered (conical), and NPS the straight (straight). NPT threads all have the same taper, 3/4 inch per foot.
