Now we have newly manufactured the spring for the ashtray lid, which is often broken. The newly manufactured spring is identical to a new Cadillac original spring. The location is slightly different depending on the car model, but the most common is a location in the rear ashtray doors. The function of the spring is to hold the door in place in the closed position so that the door does not lie and rattle. It also holds the ashtray lid in the open position. Look at the pictures and you will see examples of placement of the spring. The spring is sold piece by piece.
