Generally
A hardened special bolt with which you screw the starter ring / flex plate to the crankshaft, it is a newly manufactured bolt with the same degree of hardness as a Cadillac original. The newly manufactured one is a few mm longer than the original, so you just change one or two of them so that there is no imbalance. If you change them all, it doesn't matter that they are a little longer if it doesn't affect the engine block. On the engines we've changed the bolts on, it hasn't. But check carefully so it runs freely. 6 pieces are required for 1 engine.
