Description
These dust covers sit on the inside of the tailgate's rear edge or door edge and cover a water drainage hole. The function of this dust cover is to let out water that ends up inside the trunk / door, but not to let in dust and dirt. If you don't have this dust cover, road dirt and dust will get in and form a damp paste which is a real breeding ground for rust damage. Depending on the year and model, there may be dust covers like this on both the doors and the boot lid. If you have two small holes with a larger hole in the middle, this may be where you are missing the dust cover. The dust cover is sold in pairs.
