Description
Replacement plate, if you want to remove the exhaust damper that guides the exhaust up to the intake. When the engine is cold, the exhaust gases are sent up to the intake because the exhaust damper closes, you then get an extra fast preheating of the intake. A hotter intake is not something we need on a summer car, sometimes even the damper can get stuck in the closed position and then the tops get too hot and can crack. Install this replacement plate and you won't have to readjust the height and mounting of the exhaust system to the manifold when you remove the damper.
