Wipe the bottom of the oil pan clean. The filter is attached with a screw that has a distance before the gangs, the filter is loose up and down and it feels like there are washers or something missing! But it should be like this, there should be play on the mounting bolt. Straighten the gasket surface of the trough before assembly. When you check the oil level in the gearbox, the engine must be warm and idling, make sure the car is level. If you check the level when the engine is cold, remember that the level rises when the oil warms up.
