In some cases you have to use your old input axle and brake pipe connection
Note! 1953 with brake servo. There are different variants of non-return valve locations on these year models, if there is no non-return valve at the innermost part of your old master cylinder and it has worked before, then check that it is the same on the new master cylinder. The non-return valve is then located in the brake servo, this is very important so that the brakes do not build up pressure and stay on all the time. This master cylinder has a check valve at the front. Before installing the master cylinder, secure it in the vise and fill with brake fluid. Push the piston forward, inward then hold the brake pipe hole with your fingers release the piston back to the end position. Repeat this until you have pumped all the air out of the master cylinder, now it is much easier to get the air out of it after assembly
