Description
The cable entry with 2 pins that leads current to the gearbox's kickdown solenoid and to a pressure contact that manages the ignition. This is a remanufactured 2-pin cable gland in original design. This is a common cause of leakage, the plastic in the grommet ages and the oil leaks out through cracks or through the bad O-Ring that should seal between the grommet and the gearbox housing. Replace both the grommet and the O-Ring.
