Vacuum modulator that sits on the right side of the gearbox, it is controlled by the vacuum in the engine's intake pipe. The function is that it partially takes care of the gearbox upshift.
This is a replacement that looks different from the original, but functions the same as the original.
Tip!
Remove the vacuum hose from your old modulator, if there is oil in the hose, the diaphragm in the modulator is bad. Replace modulator.
Is the engine smoking at idle? It could be as simple as the intake vacuum sucking up gear oil through a broken modulator.
