The O-ring that seals between the dipstick tube and the gearbox is mounted in the hole, not on the tube. ATTENTION! Check under Tips! For installation instructions. This is a very common place for leaks.

Tip!
The O-ring is mounted in a milled groove in the hole in the gearbox. It must not be threaded onto the pipe.
Make sure you remove the old O-ring from its place in the hole before fitting the new one.
Then clean the pipe properly, then lubricate the hole with automatic transmission oil and it will be easier to fit the pipe.
