A used oil returns tray, in English it is called Slinger. It sits on the crankshaft inside the cam cover and has the task of keeping the oil back from the front crankshaft seal. it also helps keep the oil on the cam drive. Early 1956 before engine number 103793 (it is stamped in front of the right cylinder head) You can also check the front crankshaft seal in the cam cover, if it is a felt seal instead of a stuffing box then it is an early 1956.
