The filter is manufactured by GM in the -70s and of course Made in the USA The gasket for the lid is included. We have managed to buy in a lot of these really hard to find, original oil filters. So take advantage while we still have them in stock. 25/8 -23 Update. Our supplier of these filters in the USA did not want to sell all the filters that were in the last delivery, but now we have managed to buy all the remaining filters that were in stock. The dollar exchange rate made them a little more expensive, but we still chose to buy them. So watch out, when they run out, the original filters run out.
