Rope kit for rear wheel cylinder with 15/16″ inner diameter. Only the 1968 Cadillac that has front drum brakes has this inside diameter on the rear wheel cylinders
Tip!
Take apart the wheel cylinder and check that it is 15/16″ = 23.81mm inside. Clean the old pistons, hone or polish the inside of the cylinder with fine sandpaper. Wash clean with T-Spirit or thinner. If there is rust damage or cracks in the cylinder, it cannot be refurbished, in that case discard it and buy new complete wheel cylinders for both sides. If it is in good condition, assemble it with new gaskets that you lubricate with brake fluid.
