Tip!
Disassemble the master cylinder. Be careful and see where all the parts sit and how they are turned.
Clean it properly. Hone or polish the inside of the cylinder with fine sandpaper. Wash clean with T-Spirit or thinner.
If there is rust damage or cracks in the cylinder, it cannot be renovated, then order a new replacement cylinder from us.
If it is in good condition, assemble it with new gaskets that you lubricate with brake fluid, check that all parts are facing the right way and end up in the right place.
Bendix or Moraine?

Under the master cylinder is a screw that goes straight up into the cylinder and holds the piston in place. There is a 42mm deep pit in the piston where the pin from the brake servo goes in.Moraine There is no screw under the master cylinder. There is a 6mm deep pit in the piston where the pin from the brake servo goes into.
