A small special coil spring that is only 1″ = 25mm long and has a diameter of 1/4″ = 6.35mm. It is located at the innermost part of the gear lever. look at the exploded view and you will see approximately where it sits. The spring has the function that the gear lever springs back when you pull it towards you.
