The bracket that sits between the starter motor and the engine block. It is a newly manufactured fastener in exact original design that fits perfectly between the starter motor and the engine block. If the bracket is missing, the cast aluminum end of the starter motor will get too high a load and eventually crack and also cause damage to the starter ring. It is a very common fault that the wrong bracket is in place or that the bracket is completely missing, with completely unnecessary costs and resulting damage.
