NOS Cadillac original
A complete Cadillac / GM / AC Delco original ignition cable set that has been discontinued for a long time and is no longer available. We have managed to find a limited number of these ignition cable sets. The number of the ignition cable set is 508 D / GM12043771 and they are still in their original box that GM packed them in.
Keep in mind that the cables should not run like straight clotheslines under the hood. They should be soft bends and closest to the distributor they should go an extra turn so that you can lift off the distributor cap without removing the spark plugs. Loose and free, that is, but they must not be close to the manifolds so that they burn out. Do you need a bent spark plug cap at the spark plug? Slide the rubber cap away and bend the sheet metal clip at the right angle, lubricate the rubber cap and push it back in. Put a thin layer of spark plug grease inside the rubber of the spark plug cap before you press it onto the spark plug. The next time you remove the spark plug cap, it will not be stuck to the spark plug, and also, moisture will not get into the spark plug cap. BUT keep in mind that this special grease does not conduct electricity, so keep it away from electrical parts that should conduct electricity.
