A kit with the stuffing box that sits in the turbine cover and the square seal (Also called the turbine O-Ring) that seals between the starter ring, the turbine cover and the turbine bowl. These are the two parts you need to change the front packing box in the gearbox. We sell these as a set at a great price.
Take apart the turbine part by part, put everything up exactly in the order you take it apart. When you get to the turbine packing box in the turbine cover, break off the old one and fit the new one. Turn the stuffing box the right way, the spring towards the box. Reassemble all parts in the reverse order you took the turbine parts apart, then replace the turbine "O-Ring" Be sure to remove the old turbine O-Ring it can be so hard and pressed together that you would think it is part of turbine cover. Clean the surface properly after removing the old seal. Make sure the new seal is snug against the sealing surface. Check that it has not twisted, it should look like the picture all the way around.
