A refurbished original water pump with the correct cast number 1461288 and with the 2 holes for the hose nipples on both sides of the thermostat housing. So this is not a newly manufactured pump, but one Original Cadillac 1954 Water Pump which is refurbished to the same condition as a factory new one. All worn parts have been replaced with new parts and it is painted in Cadillac's original dark blue engine color, ready to mount on your engine. It is delivered complete with the gaskets you need for assembly. We've got our hands on a limited number of these original Cadillac pumps, so if you want a 1954 Cadillac water pump with the correct casting number, just hit us up, we don't know if we'll find more

Do not tighten the fan belts too tightly as you will destroy the water pump bearing.
