A great Lithium grease for bearing and front carriage lubrication, it is a multi grease that is just as good for front wheel bearings and other ball bearings as it is for lubricating the front carriage. One grease for everything, the color is clear red so they can see when there is new grease in the right place. it is packaged in a cartridge 397 grams = 14OZ which fits most fat syringes. Plus, it's Made in the USA of the highest quality. The grease can be called Multiplex Red or Dynalife 220. They replace each other and we deliver what we have in stock at the moment.

Change the grease or install new ones in the sprocket bearings. Wash off all old grease and dirt. Press new grease into the bearings. Fill a little extra grease around the bearings after you have mounted them. But not too much, just enough is best. When adjusting the bearings, mount the wheel first, adjust the bearing so that the play disappears but do not tighten more than that. Drive a few miles, raise the car and readjust the bearings. Do not adjust too tightly, you should almost sense a little play then it is perfectly adjusted. Lubricate the front carriage. Check that the grease nipples are ok, replace those that are questionable. Pump in new grease until you see old dirty grease coming out on the side of the dust cover, keep pumping in grease until you see new grease coming out. Now you have a well-lubricated front end, wipe off any excess grease and continue to the next lubrication point. If you are unsure where all the lubrication points are and the lubrication intervals, check the workshop manual.
