Description
An insulation that was under the hood when the car was new, we call it hood insulation. This is very similar to the original. The function is to dampen the engine noise and another advantage is that the bonnet does not get so hot = paint and sheet metal cope better.
Tip!
Mount it with contact adhesive. Be careful when assembling, so that it is straight from the start. It's hard to change once you've got it in place. The black smoother side must be glued and pressed firmly against the hood, the grayer and fuzzier side must face the engine.
