Generally

A newly manufactured hydraulic tube for the door frame with electric solenoid at the bottom of the tube, fits all doors.
It works like this:
If you press the button so that the window goes up and closes, the electric hydraulic pump in the engine room starts. At the same time, current is sent to the hydraulic tube's solenoid, which opens a small valve at the bottom of the tube. The entire hydraulic system is pressurized and there is only one place that is open, the valve for the tube that sits under the window that you want to go up and close. The glass pane moves upwards, release the button when it is in the closed position.
If you now want the window to go down and open. Then you press the button down, then current is sent to the hydraulic tube's solenoid, which opens the small valve at the bottom of the tube. The pump does not start, but the strong return spring under the window pulls it down and the oil is forced out of the hydraulic tube and back into the reservoir under the pump. Release the button when the box is in the open position.

Tip!

It is best to clean the entire system and replace the brake fluid with automatic transmission oil (Originally the system was filled with brake fluid, which corrodes paint and also the brake fluid must be replaced once a year because it absorbs moisture from the air which then forms water) But if you change to automatic transmission oil, the hydraulic hoses must also be replaced, because the older hoses cannot withstand the automatic transmission oil. But on a 60-year-old car, the hoses have almost always been changed before. Check if the hoses can withstand automatic transmission oil by lubricating them a little with oil and then rubbing with a white cloth. if the oil dissolves the rubber so that it discolours, the hoses cannot withstand automatic transmission oil. The system bleeds itself when you run the pump, just check the level all the time. Do not run the pump too much, then the windings in the electric motor will burn. Let it rest and cool occasionally.
