Knot cross with grease nipple. The middle axle has a double cross both front and rear. There are 2 in front with a centering ball between the crosses. There are also 2 at the back with a centering ball between the crosses. 1 car therefore requires 4 junction boxes of this model.
It is very important that the centering balls and bowls are ok so that it does not vibrate. Replace centering balls and cups if there is damage to them. Original, the knots are locked with some kind of glue. If it is not possible to press it apart with the vise, heat with gas welding or LPG until the locking melts. Mark with a punch how the intermediate shaft fits together before removing it. To avoid vibrations, it is always best to assemble it exactly the same as it was sitting. Don't forget to lubricate the knot crosses with grease during assembly. Also lubricate the centering ball between the crosses
