Copper tape for refurbishing instrument circuit boards

225 kr

SKU: ELD-5859 Enhet: piece

Description

Self-adhesive copper tape. This is a specially made copper tape that conducts current as well as the original. You use it to repair the circuit board behind the speedometer. The size of the copper tape is 51 x 880mm with a thickness of 0.08mm, it is exactly the same thickness as the original copper wires that are on your circuit board. This bit is enough to repair a badly damaged circuit board.

Tip!

This is how you can do it, or this is how we did it. There are certainly several good ways to do this. Clean the old circuit board with very fine sandpaper or a Scotch brite polishing cloth. Place a piece of greaseproof paper on the circuit board, draw the damaged or missing copper wires on the greaseproof paper. Place the butter paper on the copper tape and trace the lines on the butter paper, and you will get thin lines on the soft copper tape. Then cut or cut out the new copper wires, stick the adhesive copper tape wires on the circuit board. Then rub them with a small piece of wood and they will be smooth and nice. Then carefully solder the new copper wire to the old one. Clear! Now you have a nice working circuit board that looks almost like new, the only thing that looks different are the solders. We spent approx. 2 hours of work on the refurbished circuit board in the picture, with a little more time and accuracy it would be even nicer. We can warmly recommend this renovation hobby. Good luck!
