Immobilizer switch, neutral switch. Sits on the steering column and cuts the power to the starter motor when you have a gear engaged. You get a note on the car test if this contact is broken. It also senses when you put it into reverse and then turns on the reverse lights.
Plug the vacuum hoses that you don't use, if you refit an original connector in the future, it might be good to keep the hoses.
Check fasteners, screws and that nothing breaks askew. And that everything is ok where you screw the connector. If there is something crooked, crooked or something else wrong with the steering shaft with the linkage, it is easy for the connector you buy to break immediately.
