Loose nipple for 1/4″ pipe, this nipple fits pipes that have an outer diameter of 1/4″ = 6.4 mm. The outer dimension of the thread is 7/16″ approx: 11 mm if you measure with a caliper.

If you change a nipple and have to taper the pipe, you have to make a double taper. The single cone does not belong on brake and fuel lines.
