These special packing boxes sit between the differential block and the gearbox. One stuffing box keeps the 80w/90 differential oil in the diff block and the other stuffing box keeps the oil in the gearbox. It is a set of 2 identical stuffing boxes that must be turned with the sealing springs towards the oils. Install one stuffing box with the spring facing the diff lump and the 80w/90 oil, and install the other stuffing box with the spring facing the automatic transmission and the automatic transmission oil.
