Tip!
Spray on some rust remover, mount the steering wheel puller, tighten the puller bolt a little carefully, then hit the puller bolt. Now the steering wheel will release from the splint with a little luck. Be careful not to crush the center nut of the steering wheel shaft and any signal cable, put spacers between them.
