Generally

A De luxe renovation kit that contains even more parts than what is in the standard kit. It contains most of what you may need to do a complete overhaul of your Bendix brake servo. But it should be pointed out that there are parts in a brake servo which are not included and which are also not newly manufactured. But this is the most complete set we can get our hands on. This kit fits the type of brake servo that has an aluminum piston on which the leather gasket is mounted. This is by far the most common type of Bendix brake servo, but if you happen to buy the wrong rope set, you can of course return it and we will send the other type that has a plastic piston.

Tip!

Before you take apart the brake servo, mark how the parts fit together so that one part does not come up and down after assembly.

Bendix or Moraine?

How do you know if you have a Bendix master cylinder?
If you unscrew the master cylinder from the brake servo, a round rod with an adjusting screw protrudes from the brake servo.
There is a snap ring that holds the piston in the master cylinder
You can also see that there are small screws that hold the 2 parts of the brake servo together. How do you know if you have a Moraine master cylinder?
If you unscrew the master cylinder from the brake servo, a 1″=25mm thick aluminum piston rod sticks out from the brake servo.
There is no piston in the master cylinder, it is attached to the brake servo.
The 2 parts of the brake servo are held together by twisting them together, such as a jam jar. You can also see that there are no screws that hold the 2 parts of the brake servo together.
