Rope kit for original Bendix master cylinder, which is screwed to the brake servo with 4 bolts. This rope set contains many extra gaskets so it should fit both early and late versions.
Note! We have many different suppliers on this rope kit and all have different contents, some send much more than what is needed for a Cadillac master cylinder and some send what is needed. So therefore the pictures in the web store do not always match the rope set you receive. But you always get what is needed to refurbish your master cylinder.
Tip!
Disassemble the master cylinder. Be careful and see where all the parts sit and how they are turned.
Clean it properly. Hone or polish the inside of the cylinder with fine sandpaper. Wash clean with T-Spirit or thinner.
If there is rust damage or cracks in the cylinder, it cannot be renovated, then order a complete replacement cylinder from us. We want the old one in exchange.
If it is in good condition, assemble it with new gaskets that you lubricate with brake fluid, check that all parts are facing the right way and end up in the right place.
