The vacuum pump that is screwed under the engine's oil pump. It drives the wiper motor at higher speeds, at lower speeds the motor's intake vacuum drives the wiper motor.

Tip!
When changing the vacuum pump, check that the drive pin, the hexagonal pin between the oil pump and the vacuum pump, is intact. There is a turned narrower part in the middle of the drive pin, the reason for that is that the drive pin comes off if the vacuum pump gets stuck or cuts together. In this way, the vital oil pressure to the engine is saved, as the oil pump continues to spin.
Another important thing is the non-return valve, which is on the right side outside the engine, if it is bad, the engine sucks in oil at idle and smokes as if it were completely shut down.
