This water pump has a socket for a heat pack hose, if this socket is not used on your car plug it with the supplied rubber plug and clamp. Some of the brands we stock have a threaded hole where you can mount the included plug or hose nipple. Depending on what you need to connect.

Do not tighten the fan belts too tightly as you will destroy the water pump bearing.
Change the coolant every 5 years, the rust protection becomes worse with old coolant.
