A 5 liter can of automatic transmission oil with the name ATF DX II. Gulf has developed this oil for transmissions where Cadillac recommends using DEXRON or DEXRON II automatic transmission oil. If you go back and look in Cadillac's original literature, this is exactly the right oil for all Cadillac automatic transmissions from 1968-76. Since Gulf only manufactures 20 liter cans of ATF DX II oil, we have chosen to buy empty plastic cans and fill these 5 liter cans ourselves as a service to our customers who want to buy a smaller amount than 20 liters. The label is a simpler version but the contents are 5 liters of automatic transmission oil with the name ATF DX II

Tip!

Of course, you change the automatic transmission filter at the same time as changing the oil. When you check the oil level in the gearbox, the engine must be warm and idling, make sure the car is level. If you check the level when the engine is cold, remember that the level rises when the oil warms up.
