This is the front distributor block that branches the four brake pipes. The distributor block is a used Cadillac original that is ready to install, refurbished with all threaded connections and taper seats in perfect condition. The appearance and the bracket with the bolt hole differ slightly between different cars and models, but the entrance angles of the pipes are the same and all replace each other. We deliver what we have in stock at the moment.
Check carefully that all threads and the pipe cone at the front of the brake pipes are in good condition. You must be able to turn the nipple by hand and it must not bind, lubricate with rust remover if the nipple is stuck on the brake pipe. Replace brake pipes that are questionable. When screwing in the brake pipes, make sure that the threads do not go crooked. You should be able to screw in the brake pipe nipple a few turns by hand without tools, if it is too heavy right from the start, something is wrong. Be careful, it is very easy to damage the threads if the pipe nipple comes in crooked from the start.
