Description
An insulating sock that you put on the choke tube to keep the heat in the tube. So it is the pipe that goes from the manifold up to the bi-metal spring on the carburettor. The sock is made of a material that replaces asbestos. And is in original design. We sell the sock by the decimetre, so if you order one to the quantity, you get one decimetre. Always tape around the sock where you are going to cut it, otherwise it is very easy for it to fray. It is also important to seal the ends of the sock with, for example, avagas paste or glue.
Usually, a seven decimeter insulator sock is used.
