Description
Brake servo complete with master cylinder from the brand Moraine, a completely refurbished unit ready for installation. If you have a Bendix, you can install a Moraine and vice versa. We sell this brake servo without trade-in, so we do not exchange your old brake servo. The surface treatment of the brake servo may differ if you compare it to the pictures. Some may be completely black painted, we deliver what we have in stock at the moment. It does not matter, all connections fit directly. NOTE! You must use DOT-3 Brake Fluid.
Tip!
Fill with brake fluid and bleed the master cylinder to get all the air out before installing the brake pipe. NOTE! You must use DOT-3 Brake Fluid
Bendix or Moraine?
How do you know if you have a Bendix or Moraine master cylinder?
The Bendix master cylinder is made of aluminum and on the side is molded "Bendix Treadle Vac".
The Moraine master cylinder is made of cast iron and on the side of it is a casting number starting with 545…….
If you have a Bendix, you can fit a Moraine and vice versa. It doesn't matter, all connections fit directly. We will exchange your old one even if it is not the same make as the one you are buying. But of course it must be an original 1958 Cadillac brake servo if we are going to exchange it.
