Tip!
Clean the engine from grease, oil and dirt, you don't need to prime, you can then brush or spray the paint. It covers well and you get a nice looking engine in the original color that can withstand both oil and gasoline. If you are going to spray paint, xylene is the appropriate thinner. Dilute with 10–15 %. No hardener is needed.
