If the side windows rattle, you should fix it before the glass cracks.
This is the standing U-Channel molding that is mounted vertically in front of the front door's glass pane. The front part of the glass pane of the front door slides into this U-Channel strip. This U-Channel strip is 81cm long. This U-Channel molding is newly manufactured in exact original design except for the length. It is longer than your old U-Channel strips, and must be cut to the correct length. A car requires 2 strips.
Take one side at a time, remove the old U channel and compare how the ends should be cut off. Feel free to use a small cutting disc or sharp cutting pliers when shaping the ends like your old ones. Then file away the sharp edges on the ends. If you want, you can mount them with rivets like the original, or take a shortcut and glue them with e.g. glues and seals. but as always think first and act later.
