The O-Ring that sits under the rectangular aluminum cover is sometimes mounted on a plate and sometimes it is loose, they replace each other and none is better than the other. So there are different manufacturers on these kits, and we deliver what we have in stock at the moment.
When you thread out the plungen, the housing that the stuffing box sits in. Do not turn the steering wheel shaft. Try to keep the steering wheel still so that it does not spin with it, then you will avoid the problem of balls falling out in a pile. When fitting the dust cover, face the text outwards. Check that the hard disk between the steering wheel shaft and the steering gear is in good condition, if it is bad, order a new one. Change the oil to our special steering servo oil and you get a quieter and more effective pump
