Hydraulic tube to the front seat 12 Volt

5 685 kr

This tube sits under the front seat.

SKU: RUT-1250 Enhet: piece

Generally

A newly manufactured hydraulic tube in original design for the front seat. 1 Hydraultub is required for 1 car.
It works like this:
If you press the button so that the seat moves in one direction, the electric hydraulic pump in the engine room starts. At the same time, current is sent to the hydraulic tube's solenoid, which opens a small valve at the bottom of the tube. The entire hydraulic system is pressurized and there is only one place that is open, the valve to the tube that sits under the front seat. The hydraulic tube pushes the seat which moves, release the button when the seat is in the end position.
If you now want the seat to move in the other direction. Press the button in the other direction and current is sent to the hydraulic tube's solenoid which opens the small valve at the bottom of the tube. The pump does not start, but the strong return spring in the seat mechanism retracts the tube piston rod and seat, the oil is forced out of the hydraulic tube and back into the reservoir under the pump. Release the button when the seat is in the end position.

Tip!

It is best to clean the entire system and replace the brake fluid with automatic transmission oil (Originally the system was filled with brake fluid, which corrodes paint and also the brake fluid must be replaced once a year because it absorbs moisture from the air which then forms water) But if you change to automatic transmission oil, the hydraulic hoses must also be replaced, because the older hoses cannot withstand the automatic transmission oil. But on a 60-year-old car, the hoses have almost always been changed before. Check if the hoses can withstand automatic transmission oil by lubricating them a little with oil and then rubbing with a white cloth. if the oil dissolves the rubber so that it discolours, the hoses cannot withstand automatic transmission oil. The system bleeds itself when you run the pump, just check the level all the time. Do not run the pump too much, then the windings in the electric motor will burn. Let it rest and cool occasionally.
